I think I get how this works - it is an interesting concept. A few points I could make...

•Maybe click and hold to harvest resources so you don't need to click?

•This might work better as a semi-idler game - Focus on small upgrades that let you produce some extra resources each day (paying a labourer, or passive income, e.t.c)

•Quests definitely feel streamlined and not very balanced - The food/water one costs 60 total energy for 1000, the wood/water one is 50 energy for 500. Then the ore one is 40 energy for 5000 - so, of course, do food/water then the ore. Perhaps quests could be somewhat randomized? Balanced around a "pool" of average stuff.

•Townsfolk you can complete custom quests for, maybe unlocking perks or bonuses - Helping an old woman collect enough food could give a basket that doubles food per click, or rebuilding a log cabin with wood gives an axe that gives more wood.

•Music is a bit loud - couldn't find a way to turn the volume down outside of using my OS' volume controls.

Regardless - its cute! If you go for a sort of upgrade/semi-idler/clicker focus with an aim for quests and a slight "puzzle" feel, I could see it being very popular! Regardless, it looks cute! I like the graphics.

Best of luck with it!

Wow thank you for the insights. I appreciate that you took the time to think about this. 👌
